How our prediction model works
From a game to a record you can inspect.
Follow three distinct things: what is happening, what the forecast says, and how that forecast compares with the price on offer.
Timing is part of the record.
The 24-hour early forecast and 60-minute main forecast are calculated independently. Once published, neither is replaced by a later opinion.
Publication needs a confirmed schedule and usable inputs. A missed checkpoint stays missing. Live analysis requires its own supported model and current observations; an early forecast does not automatically supply the live prior.
Golf also records forecasts before subsequent scheduled rounds. These predict the eventual champion and keep separate accuracy cohorts.
A forecast has a history
How it works- 1
24 hours before
The early view
A first assessment, recorded with the inputs available then.
- 2
60 minutes before
The main forecast
A separate calculation. The original selection stays locked.
- 3
During the game
The live observation
Updated analysis where supported, kept separate from both originals.
- 4
After the result
The complete record
Each published checkpoint is graded against its own selection.
Forecast ≠ price
A likely winner is not automatically a good price.
A forecast names the more likely outcome; the price says what backing it pays. Each forecast is recorded with the best sportsbook price when it was published and settled at that price, so the record shows both whether it was right and what it returned. A recorded price is history, not a price still on offer.
